USER-CHI at the ITS European Congress

SUPERPEDESTRIAN, a multinational company from the e-scooter shared sector

Representatives from the USER-CHI project had the opportunity to participate in Europe’s leading Intelligent Transport Systems event this year, from 30 May to 1 June 2022 in Toulouse.

The project was presented during the Special Interest Session 53 on “Improving EV charging infrastructure in European urban areas”, which examined how to improve the EV charging experience for users, making it more sustainable, accessible, and affordable, as well as recent developments in the field. Two other projects on EV charging, eCharge4Drivers and INCIT-EV, were also part of the session.

Dr Evangelia Portouli (ICCS, Greece) moderated the session with speakers Christina Anagnostopoulou (ICCS, Greece), and Lieselot Vanhaverbeke (VUB, Belgium) for the eCharge4Drivers project; Maurizio Arnone (LINKS Foundation, Italy), representing the INCIT-EV project; and María Tomás (ETRA, Spain) and Silvia Valero (Metropolitan Area of Barcelona, Spain) for the USER-CHI project. Together they discussed best practices for a smooth integration of EV charging infrastructure and innovative solutions for the uptake of EV charging in urban areas and on interurban corridors.
